I found the best bowling alley in Dillon, Colorado when we were staying in Keystone for our corporate retreat. It is called Elevation Bowl. I was in charge of planning our Family Fun Night during our four day company retreat. I wanted to plan something inside in case the weather was bad. I also needed a space that could hold about fifty people, provide food and have something fun for everyone, of all ages to do. My boss suggested asking the company we made our group lodging reservations with, SummitCove Lodging. I spoke to their group sales manager and she suggested Elevation Bowl and she was right, they had everything I needed!
I called Elevation Bowl and spoke to a friendly person, and it was easy to set everything up. Elevation Bowl offers party food packages for groups and a full bar. They reserved several lanes in a row for us to bowl, and the price was reasonable and on budget! This was so simple to put together, and everyone at work was excited to go bowling!
After three days of corporate meetings, presentations and speakers, everyone was ready to cut loose and spend time with our families that came on the work trip with us. We headed over to Elevation Bowl which is only a ten minute drive from Keystone, and it is a beautiful drive, passing by Lake Dillon. When we walked in I was happily surprised at how new the bowling alley was. I didn’t know they did a remodel in 2020, and it was so nice and clean! They had all the lanes set up for us, had plenty of people working to help us get everyone in bowling shoes quickly, and then we let the games begin!
After a couple of games, the food came out and we had pizzas, chicken tenders, fries and some salads. The food was good and there was something for everyone. There were plenty of soft drinks, and we had tickets for alcoholic drinks. The bartenders took good care of us, and I didn’t have to worry about anything because they took care of every detail. They also have arcade games which were a big hit for the kids, after the bowling was over, and the adults wanted to have a few more drinks. An early evening rain storm did pass through while we were bowling so again, I was pleased that I was able to plan the Family Fun Night inside.
We had amazing service at Elevation Bowl, everyone was so friendly and nice. It was the relaxing and fun atmosphere that we all needed after traveling and working hard all week in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. When we were leaving the rain had stopped, the sky was clear, and the sun was setting. The staff at Elevation Bowl told us to walk over to Lake Dillon, which was less than five minutes away, and watch the sunset. Oh, that was the icing on the cake for the night! It was breathtaking! There was also a playground for the kids to play on while we chatted and watched the sun go down behind Buffalo Mountain. What an excellent way to bring our corporate retreat to an end.
Everything about this work trip was easy, from lodging, to company events, and I just can’t thank Elevation Bowl enough for the top notch service and going the extra mile to send us to watch the sunset! We all needed to soak in the natural beauty of this area before heading back to the grind of city life. Everyone is talking about coming back for next year’s company trip, and we will definitely have our Family Fun Night at Elevation Bowl when we return!
