vacation condo has three bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 guests. The master suite features a beautiful, large log king bed and access to the private deck, again bringing in the mountain views. The wood floors continue into this room. To add to the privacy there is a flat-screen tv and a private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, dual vanity sink area and walk in shower. Head upstairs for extra sleeping areas with a guest room that includes a 4 post queen bed and another private attached bathroom. The third bedroom is a 'bunk' room, perfect for the kids with a single over full bunk as well as an additional single bed. Upstairs in the loft landing area, there is a sleeper sofa and dining table to hang out or play a board game. There is also a laundry closet with full size washer and dryer located here.
The Gateway Lodge is conveniently located just outside of River Run and is just a 5 minute shuttle from the ski slopes in the winter or a nice walk in the summer. The resort shuttle is completely free and stops every 20 minutes at the front of the building. You can also head to the village to do some window shopping or attend an event or just enjoy a nice dinner at one of the many incredible restaurants. Or take the family to the tubing hill or ice skating rink! Leave your car parked the whole trip in the underground parking garage. This building also features ski lockers, a heated indoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center and 2 elevators on each wing of the building. There is also a large common lobby with television in case you'd like to hang out somewhere other than your room, but with a place this nice, why would you want to leave?!
Unique to the Gateway Lodge, this building has a restaurant, grocery market, ski rental shop and the SummitCove Vacation Lodging & Property Management front desk all on-site. There is also a new coffee shop / brewery that is scheduled to open this winter at this location too.
