I-70 Closure!

I-70 Will Be Closed April 5th from 9AM to 5PM

Attention all! I-70 will be closed on Tuesday, April 5th from 9AM to 5 PM to allow crews to safely bring down a large unstable cluster of boulders located on the slope above the highway. The highway will be closed between Empire Junction/Georgetown and Silverthorne, preventing many from getting from Denver to Keystone! There are alternate routes to take such as US 40 over Berthoud Pass to Kremmling, south on Highway 9 to Silverthorne. Also, US 285 to Fairplay and north on Highway 9 will also get you up to Keystone from Denver, but it is a round about way to get there! Check out www.cotrip.org for more information regarding these closures!
