January Snow Totals Stacking Up at Keystone, Colorado
2019 is off to a great start and January has been bringing lots of snow to Keystone Resort, Colorado! The latest storms this past week have brought 18 inches of snow and a total of 30 inches in January so far. But that's not the end! We still have 10 days left in January and there is daily snow in the forecast for the remainder of the month, according to Open Snow's Joel Gratz.
Keystone reported another 5 inches of snow this morning to cap off the MLK Holiday weekend. Tomorrow evening another storm will be moving into Summit County, bringing up to 15 additional inches by Saturday evening to the ski slopes at Keystone Ski Resort. Snowpack is at 112% of the average for this month and we hope it continues to be an above average ski season! 99% of the mountain is open and all 20 lifts are turning. Night skiing is open 5 days a week, Wednesdays through Mondays, meaning you can ski one of the longest ski days in all of Colorado, from 8:30 am until 8 pm!
