The wait is almost over! Mountain biking season at Keystone Resort is just around the corner, with the nationally acclaimed Keystone Bike Park officially set to open on Friday, June 25, 2026.
Known as one of the premier downhill biking destinations in the country, Keystone offers a high-alpine playground for every level of rider. From the technical challenges of the Drop Zone and legendary rock gardens to high-speed flow trails, the park crew works daily to keep the terrain in peak condition.
Why Ride the Park?
If you’ve never tried downhill mountain biking, Keystone is the ultimate place to start. The biggest advantage? The Bike Haul. Skip the grueling uphill climb and let the gondola whisk you and your bike to the summit of Dercum Mountain. At 11,640 feet, you’ll be greeted by incredible panoramic views of the Tenmile Range and Lake Dillon before you even turn a pedal.
Trails for Every Style
Whether you are looking for a laid-back afternoon on winding green and blue runs or you're a seasoned pro hunting for 20-foot drops and double-black diamond technical lines, the park has you covered.
Beginners: Enjoy miles of wide, kid-friendly 'green' trails with incredible scenery and easy rolling hills.
Intermediate: Plenty of those blue trails for a fun challenge!
Experts: Challenge yourself on steep, rocky terrain that requires full padding and a "send-it" attitude.
Rentals & Gear
Don't have a downhill rig? No problem. Full-suspension downhill rentals and safety gear are available right in the heart of River Run Village. We recommend booking your rentals in advance to ensure you get the best setup for your riding style.
LUNCH STOP
Take a break mid-day for lunch with a view at Summit House on top of the mountain, or ride down into the main village for a quick bite at local favorites like New Moon Cafe, Pizza on the Run or Lime Cantina.

- Open Thursday - Monday - 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Last upload from the base area is at 5:00pm for bike haul (4:30 for foot passengers)
