Keystone Monthly Vacation Guide- March 2026

March is generally the snowiest month at Keystone Resort, often with a mix of big powder days and warm bluebird days. Whether you are coming for your Spring Break vacation or the final laps of the ski season, March and April are packed with big energy, fun events, live music, and mountain traditions.

Here is your guide to making the most of your spring visit with SummitCove Vacation Lodging.

🎿 On the Mountain: Spring Skiing & Night Vibes

The ski season is sprinting toward the finish line, but there is still plenty of action on the slopes before Closing Day on April 5th.

  • Night Skiing: Catch the sunset from the top of the mountain and ski under the lights! Night skiing is open every Friday and Saturday through March 28th.

  • Snow Fort After Dark (March 13, 14, & 28): Elevate your après experience at the top of Dercum Mountain. Think music, lights, and late-night energy from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

  • Pints with Patrol (March 12): Head to Warren Station to get the "inside scoop" on snow conditions and backcountry safety from the Keystone Ski Patrol. It’s a great way to chat with the pros over a cold beverage.

🎸 Live Music & Signature Events

From country boots to electronic beats, March is the loudest month on the mountain. Checkout the lineup of spring events:

  • Toyota Music Den (March 4): Free live performances at the River Run Gondola.

  • Last Lift Pepsi Après (March 7 & April 4): Enjoy live music at the Last Lift Bar at the Mountain House base area for good tunes, delicious drinks, and a whole lot of fun!
Rocky Mountain Country Fest (March 14): Dust off your cowboy boots for Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys and Wynn Williams. There’s even a VIP Whiskey Tasting for those who want a premium experience.

  • Winter Comedy Series (March 20): In partnership with Denver’s Comedy Works, Warren Station hosts a night of hilarious stand-up to soothe your sore ski muscles.

  • Peaks and Beats (March 21–22): A weekend-long music festival at the River Run Base. Don’t miss headliners like Jadu Heart and Spafford as they bring the rhythm to the peaks.

  • Keystone Pride (March 27–29): Celebrate with "Sashay on the Slopes" and programming across the resort.

Start your morning where the locals do. New Moon Cafe is famous for its high-energy atmosphere and rock-n-roll theme.

  • Must-Try: Their Breakfast Burritos are legendary (try the Chorizo one!), and if you have a sweet tooth, the Croissant French Toast is a game-changer.

Happy Hour: Lime
After the lifts close or for a mid-day snack, head to Lime for the best Mexican energy in Keystone.

  • The Vibe: Lively, upbeat, and perfect for groups.

  • The Specials: Look for their Daily Happy Hour (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM). They offer great deals on house margaritas, draft beers, and "Happy Apps" like their white queso and lime nachos.

For a no-fuss, delicious dinner that everyone can agree on, Pizza on the Run is the go-to.

  • The Vibe: Cozy, reliable, and classic mountain pizzeria.
