The Keystone Summer Festival lineup is here and we are looking forward to 6 great and unique events coming up this summer in at Keystone Resort. Things heat up fast starting on June 25 - 26 with the return of the Bacon & Bourbon Festival. Visitors can eat bacon until their hearts are content, with unlimited bacon samplings. Use tickets to taste a wide variety of other bacon themed dishes and bourbon samplings. There are also ticket packages and fun for kids! Plus, live music from long-time festival favorite, Hell's Belles and other acts.
On 5 different Saturdays in July and August, the reimagined Mountain Town Music Festival brings outdoor concerts and other free entertainment to River Run Plaza. In addition to live music, enjoy the free photo booth and face painting for kids. Head to the River Run Plaza on July 2, 9, and 30 as well as August 13 and 20 to enjoy this free event at Keystone!
The Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival comes around in mid July each summer, this year on July 16 -17. This sophisticated festival offers wine tasting, incredible gourmet food options and amazing live jazz music from acts like Jupiter X-9, Tom Amend, Annie Booth, Will Donato, and many more, including Dotsero on Sunday afternoon. Ticket options are available for both wine and food tasting throughout the weekend. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views as you sip wine and enjoy the music!
Next up is the River Run Arts Festival which is totally free to attend and leaves you with some time over the weekend for traditional mountain activities you love like biking, whitewater rafting, hiking and scenic gondola rides. Spend some time in the River Run Plaza enjoying art from both local and national artists, who will be present for the duration of the festival and welcome the opportunity to discuss their work. The vast array of original art will include paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, handmade jewelry, collage, mixed media and much more. Admission is free and open to the public.
The first weekend of August, don't miss the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the famous Bluegrass and Beer Festival, happening on August 6 - 7 at Keystone Resort. This year's festival features 12 different Bluegrass acts across 3 stages all weekend long! Test your favorite beers with beer tasting from local and national breweries, and even try out some spiked seltzers, hard ciders and kombuchas!
The final summer festival is Keystone Oktoberfest, happening on Saturday, September 3, over Labor Day weekend. This fun event features all of your Oktoberfest favorites, like German beer and cuisine, polka dancing, pretzels, brats and live music from Those Austrian Guys. Plus fun events like the stein hoisting contests! Labor Day weekend is almost always one of the best weather weekends of the year with plenty of sunshine and often the starting of the change to fall colors.
