Our favorite ski and snowboard rental shop in Keystone, Colorado is Norski! They are friendly, have top notch gear, and great prices! We have been renting skis and snowboards from them for four years. I really never write reviews, but this company deserves a huge shout out. The consistency of customer service they have provided us over the years is remarkable and I have never been disappointed in the skis and boards we have rented, as their gear is always in excellent condition!
Their location is also perfect because they are conveniently located in River Run Village. We like to stay in River Run Condos, in either Jack Pine, Arapahoe Lodge or Expedition Station. We can walk to Norski Sports and pick up our rentals and walk to the gondola. They are on the edge of River Run so if you are going to start skiing at the Mountain House Base/Peru Lift you drive right by, and it is easy to pull in and grab your rentals. They have parking in front of their building or they are in walking distance to every condo in River Run Village. So no matter where you are staying in Keystone it is easy to pick up rentals at Norski Sports.
They have several different packages to fit any skier type and budget, but I tell you, it is worth the little extra money to rent the Demo package. If you stay with SummitCove Lodging you get 25% off versus 20% off online orders, so it is reasonably priced and worth every cent to have high performance skis. Norski has new skis every year, so we always rent almost brand new gear. Their boots are high quality too, and they do a good job of fitting you to the correct size. If you do have any problems with your gear it is easy and convenient to run in and get help from one of the awesome techs. One time my son broke his brakes on his skis going off a jump. If we had to leave River Run Village and go to a rental ski shop it would have taken hours! Instead we were in and out of Norski in twenty minutes and our son was back on the slopes! Again, they provide exceptional service!
Norski also rents all types of bikes in the summer. Skiing and boarding Keystone is amazing but it is also a lot of fun to ride bikes down Keystone. My boys love to mountain bike down the same hill that they ski on in the winter! It is more my speed to bike on Keystone’s bike paths and into Dillon. It doesn’t matter which type of biking you are doing, Norski has the right bike for you. They rent mountain bikes, cruisers, e-bikes and fat bikes. You can jump on the bike trail right from their shop and then ride up to return your bike when you are done. It doesn’t get any easier!
From incredible customer service to a convenient location, Norski Sports is your one stop shop for rentals in the winter and in the summer. They have quality skis, snowboards, and bikes and they do everything they can to make sure you are taken care of during your vacation in Keystone. Norski is also a locally owned company as opposed to the big name rental shops, and it feels great to support small businesses. A huge “thank you” to Norski Sports!
