Pizza 101 Offers Great Slices and Takeout in Keystone

If you’re craving a slice after a long day on the mountain, look no further. Pizza 101 remains one of the top-rated pizza joints in Keystone and even Summit County, and for good reason. Their hand-tossed, brick-oven pies are the stuff of local legend, emerging from the heat perfectly crisp and loaded with fresh ingredients.

Whether you're staying nearby or just finishing your last run at the Mountain House base area, here is the updated scoop on this Keystone staple.

Location & Accessibility

Pizza 101 is perfectly situated in Snowdance Plaza, just a quick stroll across the Snake River Bridge from the ski slopes. It’s the ideal "home base" for guests staying at Snowdance Manor, Ski Run, or Liftside Condos, and it sits conveniently across the highway from Mountain View Sports.

If you’re coming from the SummitCove front desk, it’s a breeze:

  1. Head west on Hwy 6 for about 0.2 miles.

  2. Turn left at Rasor Drive.

  3. Make an immediate left, then an immediate right.

  4. Pizza 101 will be right there on your left!

The Menu: Brick-Oven Perfection

While they serve classic favorites, Pizza 101 is known for creative specialty pies. The SummitCove Team favorite is still the "Casper"—a white sauce masterpiece with garlic oil, spinach, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, fresh tomatoes, and hard cheeses.

Other fan-favorites include:

  • The Miss Piggy: A meat-lover's dream with pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon.

  • Sweet Heat: For those who like a kick—pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeños, and crushed red pepper.

  • Sides & More: They also whip up massive calzones, strombolis, fresh house salads, and their famous wings.

Know Before You Go

  • Dine-In Space: Keep in mind that this is a "walk-up gem" with a small footprint. While there is a tiny bar area, it isn’t a full-service sit-down restaurant. It is designed for takeout —perfect for enjoying a hot pie by the fireplace in your condo!

  • Current Hours: Their schedule has shifted to better serve the peak mountain crowds. As of early 2026, they are generally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please note they do not offer delivery.

    • Wed - Fri: Open at 3:00 PM (Perfect for Après-ski!)

    • Sat - Sun: Open at 11:00 AM for lunch and dinner.

  • Ordering: You can call ahead at (970) 262-0200 to have your order ready for pickup.
