Spring in Keystone is a dynamic mix of snowy adventures and the first signs of warmer weather. March often still feels like winter, with lingering snow and temps in the 30’s many days. By May, daytime highs reach the low 50's, and the snow begins to melt, revealing lush green trails and rushing streams.
What to Do in Spring
Spring Skiing: Keystone’s ski season often extends into mid-April, and Arapahoe Basin often into June, so plan your timing accordingly if you want to hit the slopes. A-Basin is known for a fun-filled Spring Events calendar with live music, themed ski days, beer fests and more!
Hiking and Wildlife Watching: As the snow begins to melt, explore trails like Loveland Pass Lake Trail, Hoosier Pass near Breckenridge, Mohawk Lakes, and Sapphire Point.

Summer Bliss: June to August

In September, the ranges average from 40–70°F, October sees 20–50°F, and by November, it cools further to 10–35°F. As the season progresses, snowfall is possible as early as October, with November ushering in colder winds and dropping temperatures, but offering unforgettable sunsets.
