Das Bier Burner 5K 2018 is in its 5th year and is fun for everyone involved. Dress up in your favorite lederhosen or dirndl, Yeti costume or as a beer stein - whatever it is, make it good because you will want to win the
Freshies Drink Gift Baskets offered up at the audience-judged costume contest!
The race starts and finishes at the entrance to River Run Village in the heart of Keystone Resort. Runners head east on the Keystone bike path towards Settler's Creek and back through the Alders neighborhood. The course crosses the bubbling Snake River multiple times and eventually heads back past the River Run Gondola and straight into the village where the crowds will be cheering you on! Cross the finish line and then shortly after, head into Oktoberfest to claim your free brat and beer! All registered runners receive a commemorative event t-shirt and goody bag filled with schwag! You'll also have tickets for a free brat and beer (if you are over 21) at Keystone Oktoberfest!
Keystone Oktoberfest runs from 1 - 6 pm in River Run. The event is free to attend with German fare and drinks available for purchase. You can also
pickup an Oktoberfest commemorative beer stein that includes 3 drink coupons for just $35. The afternoon will feature live music from festival favorite, 'Those Austrian Guys' and live performances from the Edelweiss Schuhplattlers dancers. Kids can dance and have their faces painted. There will be other kids activities all day long.
