Plus, with affordable end-of-season lodging rates, there’s no reason not to make a full weekend of it!

The Main Events

Here is your guide to the can’t-miss events for Closing Weekend 2026:

Saturday, April 4
Springtastic Rail Jam
Watch local riders throw down their best tricks at the Mountain House base area. This high-energy event is the perfect way to kick off the spring vibes and witness some incredible talent before the snow melts.

Closing Day Party at Warren Station Located in the heart of River Run Village, Warren Station is hosting the ultimate season send-off. Expect live music, plenty of dancing, and a room full of people celebrating another incredible winter in the Rockies.

Last Lift Après When the lifts finally stop spinning for the season, the party is just getting started. Grab a drink, find a sunny patio, and toast to the 2025/2026 season with friends old and new.

Sunday, April 5
The Keystone Slush Cup
The grand finale! On Easter Sunday, join the crowd for the legendary Slush Cup. Watch (or participate!) as skiers and riders attempt to skim across a giant pond of ice-cold slush. Costumes are highly encouraged, and the wipeouts are half the fun!

Where to Stay: Be in the Heart of the Action

To make the most of the weekend, you’ll want to be within walking distance of the events. We have selected three perfect properties to keep you close to the fun:

For the Springtastic Rail Jam & Mountain House Events:

  • Chateaux DuMont #2725: This spacious condo puts you mere steps away from the Mountain House base area. It’s perfect for groups who want to walk out their door and right into the Rail Jam and Slush Cup festivities.

  • Slopeside #2753: As the name suggests, you can’t get much closer than this! Enjoy incredible convenience and great views of the mountain as the season winds down, just yards from the Mountain House Base.

For the Warren Station Party & River Run Village:

  • Silver Mill #8232: Stay right in the middle of River Run Village. You'll be just a short stroll from the party at Warren Station and the gondola, making it easy to transition from the Slush Cup back to your cozy mountain retreat.
