It's a Snow Day! 8 Inches of Fresh Powder

After a couple of weeks without much natural snow, the snow gods finally delivered! Keystone was hit with a winter storm warning yesterday and throughout the day and overnight, we received 8 inches of new snow as of 5am this morning. [caption id="attachment_27012" align="aligncenter" width="460"] Snow falling early in the day on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Lone Eagle Condos[/caption]   Keystone opened an additional run today, Spring Dipper, giving visitors 87 acres of skiable terrain.  Temperatures are very cold this morning with an expected high of just 27 degrees.  The cold temperatures will allow snowmaking efforts to continue throughout the mountain and work to open more terrain next week. There is more snow in the forecast predicted on Monday evening.   SummitCove Lodging still has properties available over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, view our available vacation rental condos, townhomes, and private homes here.  If you are looking for the perfect kitchen to prepare your Thanksgiving dinner, check out our post on our favorite condo kitchens in Keystone!
