Enjoy Seascape presented by LDTC

Do you need another reason to come to Keystone?

Now through May, The Lake Dillon Theatre Company will be presenting Seascape by Edward Albee! They play take place on dates speckled throughout May, but mostly on the weekends! Tickets run $25 for Adults and $20 for students and promises to be a thought-provoking, comedic and ultimately entertaining play!  You can get to the LDTC in just a couple of minutes when you are staying in Keystone Resort, head west on highway 6 and you are there!

The play follows a couple on the verge of retirement, Nancy and Charlie. They escape to the beach for some rest and relaxation, but their holiday is interrupted when a pair of pensive sea creatures emerge from the surf. In one of Edward Albee's most critical works, the unlikely foursome explores the meaning of existence, evolution, and tolerance as the characters wade through the differences and similarities between their respective species. Incorporating elements of comedy, satire, and absurdism, this Pulitzer Prize-winning play challenges audiences to question the ideas of understanding and empathy where none may exist and progress and expansion where none may be possible...all in a day at the beach.
