As you are planning your much awaited Keystone summer vacation, you may be wondering what activities are open and closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While this summer will look a little different than normal, there are still so many fun things to do with your loved ones in the mountains. Here are 7 things to do that are open now and ready for fun while you are visiting in Keystone!
1 . Whitewater Rafting
Early summer is prime season for whitewater rafting!

2 . Golf
The Keystone River Golf Course is now open and taking tee times! The par-71 course has beautiful views and is accessible to all abilities. Call 970-496-1520 to book your Keystone tee time.

3 . Mountain Biking
Summit County is home to some incredible mountain biking trails and is a great activity that naturally keeps you distanced from others! There is everything from easy beginner trails to advanced expert trails in the area, so take your pick and start the fun! One of our favorite areas is just across from the Summit Cove neighborhood, starting on Oro Grande Trail, there are many shorter trails in this area that allow you to loop around and create your own ride. Be sure to wear your helmet!

4 . Enjoy a Cold One at the Tiki Bar
The Tiki Bar is located at the Dillon Marina and offers the perfect place to enjoy a cold drink, such as one of their famous Rum Runners or a tasty snack after a day out on the lake on your paddle board, sailboat, kayak or pontoon boat! Enjoy their outdoor patio and great views, now open daily at 11:30 am until sunset.
5 . Hike a 14'ner
2020 is the summer of outside, so why not check hiking one of Colorado's fourteeners off your bucket list? Take your pick of one of the many options that within a short drive of Keystone, including Quandary Peak, Mount Elbert, Mount Bierstadt, Grays and Torreys Peaks or the 3-in-one-day trio hike of Mounts Democrat, Lincoln, and Bross. Be sure to start your hike early in order to be off the Summit by noon to avoid potential afternoon storms!

6 . Stand-Up Paddle Boarding
Lake Dillon is the perfect place to take your paddle board, with miles of shoreline and tons of small islands to explore! Bring your own paddle board or rent one to enjoy an amazing day out on the lake. If you are looking for even more adventure, river boarding is an option too!
7 . Fishing
The Snake River runs right through Keystone and you can even book a vacation rental that features backyard river access, like
