Vail Resorts aquires Northstar-at-Tahoe

Good news for you Epic Pass holders, you now have access to two awesome resorts in California; Heavenly and Northstar. Vail Resorts Inc. will be leasing Northstar from Booth Creek Resort Properties LLC, under a longterm agreement for a mere $63 million.Vail Resorts Inc. now operates four mountains in Colorado; Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek. And two mountains in California; Heavenly and Northstar-at-Tahoe.

Northstar-at-Tahoe™ Resort is host to a new base area village featuring 35 unique shops and restaurants, a conference center, 9,000 square foot skating rink, on-site lodging, special events and more. A winter sport enthusiast's paradise, Northstar® Resort offers 92 ski trails spread across 3,000 acres, award-winning terrain parks and snow sports including alpine and Telemark skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing.
