January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month! This means great opportunities for savings for literally anyone to sharpen their skills or take up a brand new winter sport! There are 2 programs beginning in Summit County in January that may help you to get started. Keystone Resort is offering 3 of it's popular Betty Fest weekends for 2012 starting on January 14th. This is a great program for women of all levels and abilities to sharpen their skills! Just minutes from Keystone; Arapahoe Basin is offering a Super Sunday special for first timers needing lessons!
Betty Fest at Keystone Resort
Betty Fest is a two-day ski improvement workshop taught by Keystone's top female PSIA Certified instructors. It includes on mountain coaching, video analysis and lunch. Groups are small and supportive, and instruction addresses the unique needs of women skiers. Come and enjoy a weekend of skill and confidence building in a relaxed, non-intimidating environment! The first Betty Fest weekend takes place from January 14-15th.
INTRO TO BETTY:
1 day workshop on Saturdays of Betty Fest for NOVICE skiers who need help getting off the Bunny Hill or down a green run without fear.
