5 Thanksgiving Week Activities for the Whole Family

When spending time with family, it can often be hard to find something that everyone enjoys, but Keystone is one of the most family oriented resorts around and has some fun activities that everyone will love! Here are a few of our top picks to keep any family busy during this holiday week.

Top 5 Thanksgiving Week Activities for Whole Family

1. Early Morning Pow-Pow Sessions. Get up, get out early and make the most of the amazing early season snow here we get at Keystone Resort! Be sure to warm up with a hot chocolate (or hot toddy) at LaBonte's Cabin or Summit House on Dercum Mountain. 2. Scenic Gondola Ride for the Whole Family The gondola in Keystone features a scenic ride up to 11,640 feet, where the you'll experience amazing views of Lake Dillon, the 10-mile range, and even Breckenridge Ski Resort.  This is a great option for families with kids too young to get out on the mountain or anyone not interested in strapping on a pair of skis. At the top grab lunch and hot chocolate at the Summit House or enjoy a beer in an Adirondack chair. 3. Ice Skating. Keystone boasts the largest, Zamboni maintained ice rink in North America!  There is also a 2nd rink located at Dercum Square in River Run Village.  Do some twirls or skate under the stars, this is an experience you'll never forget! 4. Cruising River Run Village. Great shops, coffee, food, apres ski specials and people watching, really something to satisfy everyone. 5. Explore the Snow Fort! Everyone loves a winter wonderland, and nothing says it more than a life sized snow fort at the top of the mountain!  Have a snowball fight or play hide and go seek! Happy Thanksgiving!
