Spring is here in the high country and with over 6 feet of new snow since mid-February, the conditions are gearing up for a nice Spring skiing season at both Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.  After most of the other mountains close for the season, Arapahoe Basin stays open as long as the snow sticks around, sometimes as late as July 4th.  A-Basin hosts loads of fun Spring Events including the Red Ball Beach Beach Bash, Festival of the Brewpubs, the May Concert Series and a Huck, Rock and Roll Rail Jam.  You can also rent spaces at the infamous 'Beach', a parking area that runs along the base of the mountain where people hang out, barbecue, and have fun while enjoying the snow and beautiful spring weather.

Arapahoe Basin's 'Spring Pass' went on sale this past Monday, perfect for anyone looking for a good deal on Spring Skiing in the high country.  For only $169, the Spring 2013 Pass gives you unlimited access to A-Basin from the purchase date through the end of the current 12/13 season. Even if you come up for just two weekends of skiing or riding, that equals only $41 per day!

Another option for Spring Skiing is to purchase an A-Basin Season Pass for next season, which includes unlimited riding this Spring when you purchase it in advance.  Season passes are just $269 for adults, $199 for Youth, and $139 for children and offer unrestricted riding at Arapahoe Basin for the entire 12/14 season.

Snowfall has been spectacular so far this Spring, and remember it's not over yet!  Spring skiing has only just begun, so be sure to take advantage of the fresh snow, warm weather, and sunny days on the slopes!  Look for some Spring Lodging specials from SummitCove.com in your inbox!
