Friday, September 2nd

Friday Afternoon Club

This is the final Friday of the summer season for FREE gondola rides from 3pm - sunset Enjoy live music while taking in the majestic scenery from the deck of the Summit House and chow down on some delicious BBQ.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase from our outdoor grill and BBQ.  Arnie J. Green will perform live music.

Moments in Time-An Evening With Jon Paul

At 7:00pm, The Dercum Center for the Arts and Humanities presents this evening of live music and the photography of Jon Paul at Warren Station in River Run Village.  This is a ticketed event.  Cost is $15 per adult, $10 per student, and FREE for photography workshop participants.

Saturday, September 3rd

The Annual Great Rubber Duck Races at Breckenridge Riverwalk Center

Watch as adopted ducks are dropped into the Blue River.  About 10,000 rubber ducks will float down the river to the Riverwalk Center.

Schedule of events:
1 p.m. Kids Duck Dash
2 p.m. Business Battle Duck Race
3 p.m. The Great Rubber Duck Race

A Taste of Keystone

Bring a hearty appetite and prepare your taste buds for the best culinary event of the summer! The Taste of Keystone is a perfect way to experience Keystone's finest cuisine, while supporting Summit County's Mountain Mentors, all in one day!  Here's an opportunity to sample a wide variety of cuisine from Keystone's best restaurants including: Alpenglow Stube, Ski Tip Lodge, Keystone Ranch, and The Bighorn Steakhouse. Top it all off with the finest sweet treats from acclaimed pastry chef Ned Archibald. Enjoy live music all afternoon.

11:00 am-3: 00 pm Restaurants open for sampling – Lodge Terrace and Lakeside Village

3:00 pm Mountain Mentor's Silent Auction Winners Announced

Breck Crest Mountain Marathon

The Summit Foundation is the beneficiary of the Breck Crest Mountain Marathon.  Comprised of 5 mile, Half Marathon and Marathon trail runs, the races are scheduled annually the Sunday of Labor Day weekend in conjunction with The Summit Foundation's Annual Rubber Duck Races. $5 from each race entry is donated to The Summit Foundation.
