Where to Find a Home Cooked Thanksgiving Meal in Keystone

Thanksgiving originated as a harvest festival and has been nationally celebrated since 1789.  Thanksgiving entails; giving thanks, feasting, spending time with family and friends, football, and of course skiing!  Conditions are fantastic at both Keystone and A-Basin. More and more terrain is opening everyday. Options for Thanksgiving dinner are plentiful.  You can always cook your own in your condo. Our kitchens are well stocked with utensils, pans, and bowls. That being said, it is always nice to have someone else do the cooking!  The following list represents some of the restaurants in Keystone and Dillon, whether or not they will be open and if they have a special Thanksgiving meal.   Keystone Fine Dining Restaurants Bighorn Steakhouse:  Is offering a full traditional Thanksgiving buffet.  This buffet is extensive and the chefs are amazing!  Cost for the buffet for adults is $60 and kids ages 6-12 are just $24.   The Alpenglow Stube, The Ski Tip Lodge, The Der Fondue Chessel and The Keystone Ranch, will all be open and serving their regular menus on Thanksgiving Day.   For reservations at any of the above restaurants call 970-496-4386   Other Keystone Restaurants: New Moon Cafe: Open on Thanksgiving for Breakfast & Lunch, with 2 very tasty Thanksgiving Brunch Specials, in addition to the entire regular menu. For breakfast enjoy a pumpkin waffle with cranberry topping, maple syrup, whip cream and powdered sugar. For lunch, get your turkey fix with a carved turkey sandwich on toasted ciabatta roll with cranberry aioli and with a side of green bean casserole.   Kickapoo Tavern:  Will be open on Thanksgiving and serving a traditional turkey dinner as a special.  Their full menu is available for any non turkey eaters.  They do not take reservations.   Montezuma Road House:  Will be open on Thanksgiving a serving a traditional turkey dinner as a special.  Their full menu is also available if you would prefer one of their other dishes.  They do not take reservations.   Dos Locos:  Closed on Thanksgiving.  Open the rest of the weekend.   Snake River Saloon:  Closed on Thanksgiving.  Open the rest of the weekend.   Dillon Restaurants: Dillon Dam Brewery:  Closed on Thanksgiving.  Open the rest of the weekend.   Arapahoe Cafe:  Closed on Thanksgiving.  Open the rest of the weekend.   Pug Ryans: Will be open from 2 - 8pm, you can order a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the fixings, including pumpkin or pecan pie! Full menu also available. Cost: $26 for adults, $12 for children 12 and younger. For reservations, call 970-468-2145   Red Mountain Grill:  Will be open and serving a traditional turkey dinner as a special.  Their full menu is available for any non turkey eaters.  They do not take reservations.   This is just a short list of restaurants in the area.
