With spring temperatures warming up the Snake River Valley, golfers don’t have to wait long to swap their skis for clubs. Keystone is gearing up for a spectacular summer season filled with high-altitude rounds and premier mountain events.
The River Course at Keystone
The River Course is scheduled to kick off the season on Friday, May 8, 2026. This par-71 masterpiece is celebrated for its dramatic elevation changes and stunning layout that winds alongside the Snake River before climbing into a dense lodgepole pine forest. With five sets of tees on every hole, the course remains accessible for casual players while offering a formidable challenge for low-handicappers navigating its variable bunkers and water hazards.
Visitors can enjoy "Early Bird" rates from May 8th through May 21st, with super-twilight rounds starting as low as $65. The River Course also features a fully stocked golf shop and The Grill, perfect for a post-round meal with a view. The course is slated to remain open daily through October 4, 2026.
Keystone Ranch Golf Course
Following closely behind, the Keystone Ranch Golf Course is set to open on Friday, May 15, 2026. This par-72 course offers a unique "tale of two nines": the front nine follows a legendary Scottish links-style layout across open sage meadows, while the back nine transitions into a traditional mountain valley trail through the pines and around a scenic nine-acre lake.
The Ranch clubhouse provides a full-service experience with locker rooms, a golf shop, and a bar menu that is a local favorite for lunch. For those seeking a premier culinary experience, the course is located just steps from the Keystone Ranch Restaurant, a AAA Four Diamond destination. Like the River Course, the Ranch is scheduled to welcome golfers daily through October 4, 2026.
