Keystone is Opening Up for Summer 2023

Keystone is Opening Up for Summer 2023!

The snow is melting up in the high country so it’s time to start planning those adventurous mountain trips. Keystone has plenty of events and activities to keep you busy all summer long!

The golf courses at Keystone have opened already! Come enjoy this gorgeous spring sunshine where you can enjoy 36 holes of golf between two premier courses. The Keystone River Course and the Keystone Ranch Course are challenging in different ways and have gorgeous mountain views with occasional wildlife sightings. The Ranch course is more flat and open with the River Course having more elevation change. Both will test your ability and you can end the day with dinner at the Historic Keystone Ranch.

Lakeside Village activities will open June 11th with a weekend schedule and then go to a 7-day a week schedule on June 29th. Staying in Lakeside Village is a real treat with the stunning mountain views and all the lake activities. The Adventure Center is right there where you can rent paddle boats, SUPs, kayaks, canoes, and bike rentals. It’s also fun to buy fish food and give the huge fish that live in the lake a little nibble - fun for kids and adults alike! Play giant Jenga, Checkers, Cornhole or just laze in one of the hammocks set up along the lake. If you’re thirsty, check out the new Rathbone Tap Room located in the Adventure Center. You can also grab a bite to eat at Nowhere Pizza & Pub. There is something for everyone here at Lakeside Village!

River Run Village will launch their summer activities on June 23rd opening the Scenic Gondola Rides and Bike Park. Ride the gondola up to the top of Dercum Mountain and enjoy the views of Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range. You can either ride the gondola back down, hike the 2.3 mile long Dercum Summit Hiking Trail or bike back to River Run Village. The Bike Park has trails for every ability and it's a great place to challenge yourself on a professionally maintained course. June 29th is when the other River Run activities open including Summer Snow Tubing at the top of Dercum Mountain, Bungee Trampolines, Gem Panning, and Mini Golf in Dercum Square.

There is nothing better than listening to outdoor music in a peaceful, gorgeous setting. Keystone will offer plenty of opportunities to experience a variety of music this summer. Every Friday afternoon from 4pm - 6pm, the Keystone Neighbourhood Company is offering free live music from local musicians in River Run Village. The perfect way to kick off the weekend! There are also plenty wonderful Summer Festivals in River Run throughout the summer: Bacon and Bourbon Festival June 24 & 25, Stars & Guitars July 1st, Wine & Jazz Fest July 15 & 16, Art Festival July 21, Bluegrass & Beer Festival August 5 & 6, Mountain Town Music August 19th, and to cap off the summer, Oktoberfest September 2nd.
