From September 30th through October 16th, the Lake Dillon Theatre Company will present performances of "Driving Miss Daisy". This is the perfect event to complement to your Keystone vacation! For folks who are headed to Summit County to view the beautiful fall colors, SummitCove is proud to offer lodging options with fall specials. The play, starring Diane Gadmoski, Harvey Blanks, and Chris Reid spans twenty-five years during which Hoke, a newly hired black chauffeur drives Daisy Wertham, a rich, sharp tongued Jewish widow of seventy-two. The two, despite their mutual differences, grow ever closer and more dependent upon each other. Eventually, they become almost a couple. Winner of the 1988 Pulitzer Prize, DRIVING MISS DAISY, also won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play.
