New Developments Coming to Keystone Resort

If you come to one of the Keystone Festivals this summer, you’ll notice some new construction going on. There are two different new development projects taking place in River Run Village. One is the Kindred at Keystone Resort, a $300 million project, located in the former Hunki Dori lot. This will be a mixed development area with a ski-in, ski-out luxury hotel, high-end residences, spa, pool, hot tubs, retail shops, restaurants, event venue, ski club, and a new ski school area. The hotel will be managed by RockResorts who manages boutique hotels in Vail, Beaver Creek and Park City. The 95 luxury residences will range from 1 - 4 bedrooms and are starting at $1.4 million dollars. This hotel will be the only hotel at this level in Summit County and plans to open in 2025.

The other development is the Alcove Residences at River Run. These are exclusive 3 and 4 bedroom townhomes just steps from the gondola. On the site of the old Goldbug parking lot, the townhomes run along the Snake River and the Snake River Wetlands. The exterior and interior have a Mountain Modern Luxury design and have top of the line amenities. These multi-level townhomes range in size from 2,275 to 2,730 square feet and feature open-concept living, with beautiful kitchens, spa-like bathrooms, covered outdoor terraces, hot tub patios and two-car garages. With the proximity to the gondola, these luxury properties will be sought after by families and groups looking for space, comfort and convenience.

Both these projects will elevate Keystone to a premier resort rivaling Breckenridge, Vail, and Beaver Creek. These new luxury accommodations will help bring in more guests throughout the year with events and summer activities changing Keystone to a truly year-round destination resort. Come up and see the progress on these new complexes that are going up in River Run. It’s an exciting time in Keystone!
