Explore the Great Outdoors

Everywhere you look in Summit County, you will see beautiful scenery, which makes hiking a popular choice for outdoor adventure.  This is the perfect way to spend a whole day soaking up sunshine and enjoying all that nature has to offer.   If you prefer, there are options for biking, which is another excellent way for the family to do some sightseeing.

Try Your Luck at Black Jack

Casino night is an option for a guys or girls night out, or for couples who want to try their luck at the tables.  Black Hawk and Central City are just a short, scenic drive away and offer all of your favorites from slots to blackjack and poker.  You can also enjoy the Central City opera if you are craving a cultural activity.

Visit the Mile High City

The city of Denver is only an hour and a half away if you wanted to mix in some city activities with your mountain adventure.  The Denver Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science and professional sports are good options at any time of year.  You may want to check out the restaurants, museums and tours, parks or concerts.
