Ski In Ski Out Properties in Keystone
The enchantment and magic of the words "ski in ski out" evoke the greatest of emotions in any resort enthusiast. A property that is truly ski in ski out means snapping into your gear and skiing down to the lift, watching people make turns from your bedroom or porch, lunch on the balcony and skiing directly up to the door of your building with no walking involved! In Keystone, many properties that are advertised are a ski in ski out are more of a 'short hike' away from the slopes. Websites, like SummitCove.com in Keystone will tell you exactly how many yards you are away from the lifts and show you on a google map exactly where the property is located and how to get to the nearest lift.

The only 2 buildings in Keystone that truly are ski in ski out properties are Lone Eagle and The Timbers. These properties are situated on River Run directly below Ina's way above the River Run Gondola and Summit Express. Staying here means no walking to the lifts and no walking back to the buildings - you ski directly up to your door!

There are many other "basically ski in ski out" properties in Keystone that are extremely close and a very easy flat, and non-treacherous walk to the lifts. The "basically ski in ski out" properties to the lifts on the Mountain House side are at Slopeside and Chateau DuMont – you can be out your front door and at the lift in under two minutes walking time to the Peru lift. Just beyond these buildings are going to be Key Condo and Ironwood Townhomes which are about a 5 minute walk over to the Peru lift and directly behind the free skier parking at the Pika Lot.

On the River Run Village side, there are also a few properties that are "basically ski in ski out" allowing a few minutes walk . Any property in the River Run Village is also a less than 5 minute walk through the village which folks typically find relatively painless. The Springs and Red Hawk are going to be the closest to the gondola followed by Arapahoe Lodge, Jackpine and Black Bear. Situated right behind these buildings are Silvermill, Expedition Station, Dakota and Buffalo. In River Run Village, you have the convenience of walking to a good number of shops, restaurants and bars.
If you are willing to endure a 10 – 15 minute walk on the footpath through the wetlands you might consider staying at one of our properties in Mountain House such as Snow Dance Manor, Cinnamon Ridge, or Gateway Lodge.
Depending on your budget what amenities you are looking for, Keystone Resort has a wide variety of properties from the "truly ski in ski out" to "short hike" away from the lifts. Keystone also runs a complimentary resort shuttle, meaning any property in Keystone is just a short walk or lift from the slopes.
