Ski In Ski Out Properties in Keystone

The enchantment and magic of the words "ski in ski out" evoke the greatest of emotions in any resort enthusiast. A property that is truly ski in ski out means snapping into your gear and skiing down to the lift, watching people make turns from your balcony, lunch at the condo and skiing directly up to the door of your building with no walking involved!

Which properties at Keystone are ski-in, ski-out?

The only 2 buildings in Keystone that truly are ski in ski out properties are Lone Eagle and The Timbers. These properties are situated on the edge of the River Run ski run, directly below Ina's way and above the River Run Gondola and Summit Express. Staying here means no walking to the lifts and no walking back to the buildings - you ski directly up to your door!

Which properties are just a short walk to the ski lifts at Keystone?

There are many other "basically ski in ski out" properties in Keystone that are extremely close and a very easy, flat, non-treacherous walk to the lifts. The "basically ski in ski out" properties to the lifts on the Mountain House base area are at Slopeside and Chateaux DuMont – you can be out your front door and at the lift in under two minutes walking time to the Peru lift. Just beyond these buildings are going to be Key Condo and Ironwood Townhomes which are about a 5 - 7 minute walk over to the Peru Lift at Mountain House.

On the River Run Village side, there are also a few properties that are "basically ski in ski out". Just about any property in the River Run Village is about a 5 minute walk or less through the village which folks typically find relatively painless, especially now that the main plaza area walkway is heated. The Springs and Red Hawk Lodge are going to be the closest to the gondola followed by Arapahoe Lodge, Jackpine, Alcove and Black Bear. Situated right behind these buildings are Silvermill, Mill Creek, Expedition Station, Dakota, Buffalo as well as The River Run Townhomes. In River Run Village, you have the convenience of walking to a good number of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the ski slopes.

If you are willing to endure a 10 – 15 minute walk on a packed snow footpath, you might consider staying at one of our properties in Mountain House such as Snow Dance, Ski Run, Liftside, Tenderfoot, Hidden River, Snake River, Cinnamon Ridge, or Gateway Lodge.

Depending on your budget and what amenities you are looking for, Keystone Resort has a wide variety of properties from the "truly ski in ski out" to "short walk" away from the lifts. Keystone also runs an expansive complimentary resort shuttle, meaning almost every property in Keystone is either just a short walk or short shuttle away from the slopes.
