Arapahoe Basin is open for the 2012 2013 Colorado ski season. Here is a photo from our experience on the mountain, good crowds broke open the Colorado Ski season and Arapahoe Basin for opening day on 2012 and 2013. Last night we had a good cold storm roll into the mountains around 7PM and brought with it a couple of natural inches as well as the snow making crew that is absolutely amazing at the high altitude of Arapahoe Basin.
