Summit Express Makes it Easy to Get to Keystone from DIA

We have used Summit Express in the past as our shuttle to and from DIA to Keystone. Since we stay with SummitCove Lodging, we get an awesome deal on airport transportation with Summit Express. In the past we have ridden on shared group shuttles, but this year my sister, her kids and our mom were coming with us so we rented a private shuttle.   As always it was easy to make a reservation online and Summit Express sent us a reminder text the day before and the driver called us too. They tracked our flight, so if we were delayed they would hold our private shuttle.  We actually landed on time and after we gathered all our luggage, we went to the shuttle pick up and there was our driver, with our big, luxury van waiting for us.      We were all thirsty and low on water, so we were happy to see the van was stocked with lots of water.  Our private shuttle also included a 30 minute stop of our choice which was how we were getting our groceries. We were also all hungry so our shuttle driver recommended that we not wait until we get to Dillon to stop at the grocery store, but we could stop at a grocery store in Golden, a suburb of Denver, so we could also get snacks or pick up fast food for the ride up to Keystone.  We were in the van for about 30 minutes and right off the highway our shuttle driver stopped at a shopping area with a grocery store, Kings Sooper, a liquor store, Apple Jacks (which we found out later is one of the largest liquor distributors in the State and has excellent pricing), and several fast food restaurants.    We had all the stores we needed but only had 30 minutes so it was time to divide and conquer!  My sister took the 4 kids to a fast food restaurant and took the other adult's orders. My husband did the liquor store run and my mom and I did the grocery store run.  We took a little longer than 30 minutes but our driver was very nice about it. Once we got back in the shuttle van, my sister gave us our food and I sat back ate my salad and enjoyed the ride!    About an hour and 15 minutes later we were getting our keys from the SummitCove check in desk and our driver took us to our beautiful condo, Ironwood 2986, and helped us with all our luggage and groceries.  He even took all our trash from our food. He was seriously the nicest guy and kept the little kids entertained looking for deer on the side of the road and the older kids thought he was great because the van had wifi!    After we said goodbye to our shuttle driver I was sitting in the condo with my entire family and I realized we landed at the Denver Airport at 1:00 pm and 3 hours later we were sitting in our condo.  We all had full bellies and no one had to leave and go shopping for food! I seriously could not believe we were ready to relax and go sit in our private hot tub!     Thanks Summit Express for taking the stress out of traveling and helping us kick off our vacation stress free!  It's never been easier to get to and from DIA to our Keystone vacation!
