Daily Snow Expected Thanksgiving Week at Keystone Resort

The record-setting October snow left Keystone Ski Resort with a great base and recent storms have filled in some additional natural snow! 8 inches of snow has fallen in the past two days and it has continued to snow all morning in Keystone. This Thanksgiving holiday should offer guests a great experience with plenty of terrain open to explore and fresh snow to enjoy.  There is daily snow in the forecast from Monday, November, 25th - all the way through Sunday, December 1st, according to Open Snow's Joel Gratz.    Upcoming Snow Forecast from Open Snow, as of 11/22/19

Thanksgiving weekend is packed with fun events to get you in the holiday spirit.  Spend Thanksgiving day out on the ski slopes or watching the big game with friends and family.  Cook your own meal in your vacation rental or head out for a turkey day dinner at one of your favorite Keystone restaurants, many of which are offering Thanksgiving specials.  On Saturday, head to River Run Village for an afternoon of holiday fun.  The Welcome Winter Family Carnival offers fun for kids and adults, from 3 - 6 pm. Kids can play games, get their faces painted and watch the show from Sven and his circus performances, with free hot cocoa and kettle corn.  Adults can boogie in the ballroom with a Welcome Winter cocktail and enjoy live music from Bluegrass band, Tara Rose and the Real Deal.  At 4 pm, the Kidtopia Parade begins outside in the village plaza, followed by carolers and visits with Santa from 4:15 - 5:15.  Free hot cocoa and cookies will available while you wait for the holiday tree lighting at 5:15pm. Fireworks over River Run cap off the evening at 7pm.
