Christmas time in Keystone is nothing short of magical. The white snowy backdrop, holiday lights and music with the cheery feel make for a family holiday that you won't forget. Here are my top 3 favorite properties to rent for a family vacation over the holidays that really bring out that dreamy holiday, cozy feeling and bring your family together.

The location of this property alone puts it in class of its own. Located out in the Keystone Ranch area, it is a bit away from the ski slopes, but allows you to enjoy the scenic 10 minute drive and take in the beautiful of the open fields and meadows with surrounding mountain views in the Keystone Ranch area. This log-home style property is big and grand, welcoming you with a huge second story porch and stone pillars. As you walk into this property, the vaulted ceilings hit you with a super-spacious feel and everything screams GRAND, like the large exposed wood beams that are seen throughout the home and beautiful wood beam staircase. The furnishings are nice, but not 'too nice' - you'll feel very comfortable relaxing here. A large elk with a big rack is mounted on the wall and really adds to the mountain feel of this private home in Keystone. A large, open kitchen with chef grade appliances will make it easy to prepare that family meal. A large stone hearth fireplace in the grand room will warm you up on that snowy night. Stare out at the mountains through the large picture window. There are also multiple fireplaces in other rooms of this house. Spacious cozy bedrooms and a private hot tub top off this property as a place that any family would love to spend some together at during the holidays on a mountain ski trip.

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo is located in River Run Village and has an amazing ski slope view. Hardwood floors are a nice upgrade with a cozy sectional sofa, large flatscreen TV and plenty of seating in the living room. The best part of this room? The coffee table - it's a working mini foosball table that will keep kids (or those 'kids at heart') occupied for hours. I can just see our family curling up here on the sofa for a game night or movie by the warm fireplace. The location is perfect, we can walk around the village, to dinner, to go shopping, ice skating or just to hang out by the gas firepit in the village. Then we can head to the heated pool which features a WATER SLIDE and two hot tubs to warm up in as the snow falls. This great building also has a steam room, kids playhouse with a kids castle and movie theatre room with comfy reclining leather seats and huge flat screen TV! The gondola is just yards away to make carrying our ski gear to the slopes a breeze. I can picture it now... a quiet Christmas morning on the slopes, followed by a warm meal, opening a few presents and then a soak in the hot tub, enjoying our family time together.

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo is located in North Keystone and everything about it screams MOUNTAINS! This property is a multi-level condo that has some great features like vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. The main level has unbeatable views outside of the lodgepole pines and snowy meadows and would be great to sit and watch the snow fall on a winter evening. Wood floors grace most of the main level and the living room has a fireplace. Tons of little details add to the mountain charm of this condo, like the forest themed iron fireplace cover, moose on the couch pillows and the gorgeous staircase which has a tree and leaf theme. The bedrooms all feature cozy quilts and really will make you feel at home. The master bedroom has a built in wall gas fireplace, perfect to curl up by on a winter night or to warm you up in the morning before crawling out of bed to head to the slopes. There is a great upper level balcony at this property if you happen to get a warm afternoon, get out and take in the fresh air. The kitchen is spacious and features stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. I would love to take my family here for a wonderful holiday break at Keystone!
