Kids Ski Free at Vail Resorts including Keystone
Vail Resorts offers a chance for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade that live in Colorado to ski for free. The Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is a free program that allows kids to ski and ride at Keystone, Vail, Breckenridge, and Beaver Creek for the 2017 – 2018 Ski Season. There are a few holiday restrictions on the free ski passes from 11/24/17 – 11/25/17, 12/26/17 – 12/31/17, 01/13/18, 02/17/18 – 02/18/18.
If your kids are just learning, this sweet deal also includes one free ‘first-timer’ ski or ride lesson and an equipment rental at your choice of one of the participating resorts listed above! This offer is available from 11/27/17-12/16/17 & 1/18/18-2/1/18. To make your first-timer lesson, a reservation is required by calling the resort in advance. Ski lessons are available for kids starting at age 3+ and snowboard lessons start at kids ages 7 and up.
To Register Your Child in the Epic SchoolKids Program:
1. Visit a Colorado Ski and Golf or Boulder Ski Deals Store Location before October 8, 2017.
2. Child must be present to register.
3. Parent brings a copy of child report card, student ID, birth certificate or passport.
4. Parents can pick up their child’s pass at the resort ticket window upon their first resort visit.
While there, inquire about their Junior Trade Programs – they offers great deals on purchasing used equipment setups for your kids who are just getting started and growing. They allow you to trade in the gear at anytime as they grow out of it into new used gear that fits. These packages start at $199 and are a great deal for kids!
