Keystone Resort has announced that it will open for the 2024-25 ski season on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Keystone will be the third Colorado resort to open for the season, and just 30 minutes after Arapahoe Basin starts turning their lifts for the season . The first to open was Wolf Creek on October 22. Keystone will kickoff skiing and snowboarding on 2 trails with over 2+ miles of trail open on the Schoolmarm and Spring Dipper Runs, and more terrain opening as soon as conditions permit. The Kokomo learning area carpet will be open, plus a hike-to terrain park at the top of the Spring Dipper run.
Keystone's opening day celebrations will also feature live music, food and drink specials, and giveaways. Enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts and live music all day. The excitement and stoke is always high and taking part on opening day is always fun to attend.
The first gondola cabin of the 2024 -2025 ski season at Keystone will load at 9am and be open all day until 4pm. Guests will need to download on the River Run Gondola to get back down to the bottom. The Montezuma Express lift will also be open for mid-mountain laps.
Guests can take advantage of early season lodging deals this weekend, including the Keystone Kickoff packages, which offer 2 nights lodging in a one-bedroom River Run Condo and 2 tickets to the Keystone Kickoff event of their choice at nearby Warren Station in the village for $300 flat. The event happening this weekend is a screening of Warren Miller’s latest film, “75,” with 2 showings on Saturday at 3:30 and 6:30 pm and it benefits Dillon Valley Elementary School.
Arapahoe Basin has also announced their opening day for this Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. Starting Saturday, Arapahoe Basin lifts will start spinning from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and be open and operating seven days a week for the remainder of the season.
