Chateaux DuMont 2704

This is such a hidden gem in Keystone, CO. If you have young kids and enjoy cooking your own meals... this place is for you. It's equal distance to the Peru lift & ski school/ski lessons. Makes it easy to get your entire party to where they need to be all within 50 yards or so. Truly, we love this place and will never rent somewhere else. It's pricey for sure, but the convenience & private indoor hot tub can't be beat. The unit itself is well maintained, remodeled kitchen with the bells & whistles and beds are comfy to sleep in. You won't regret staying here--- even if you need to make it over to River Run, you can hop on the shuttle and be there in 3-5 minutes.

Excellent location just steps to the lift for those skiing with kids. Very convenient to stop for lunch break during the day vs stopping on mountain. Private hot tub got used multiple times per day. Kids enjoyed the having the game cabinet. Kitchen is fully stocked for those that would want to stay in and cook meals. Only wish the firewood burned better to enjoy the fireplace at night after a full day of skiing. Will be staying in this unit again for our next visit.

Check-in went smoothly. Email and texts were appreciated from beginning to end. Questions via text were answered promptly. The abundance of towels was great. Beds very comfortable, Dish soap and supplies were well stocked. Bathrooms and kitchen surfaces were clean and unit was generally clean.

The updating on this Chateau d' Mont is excellent. The updated living room is fabulous with a new functional kitchen. The updated hot tub room was very nice and 2nd master bedroom had brand new furniture & nicely decorated. However, the Condo rental management was very slow to respond with issues like dirty floors that needed to be swept and cleaned.

Chateaux DuMont 2704 is just steps to the chair lift! Very roomy and comfortable condo. Private hot tub and wood burning fireplace a plus. Cooking/serving utensils were a bare minimum if you planned on cooking a big variety. Mountain house area is a quiet area for people traffic. Downside to this location is lack of quick access to a grocery/convenience store.

Our place was great! The location of this unit worked out extremely well for us to get my brother to the Keystone Adaptive Center where he had to meet up with his ski guides each day. Im not sure if any other unit would have worked as well for getting him in his wheelchair to the lifts. There was another unit close to the bridge but I don't remember if it had easy access to the sidewalk. I did check out a day early and wanted to see if I could get some of that back, I haven't called about it and it may be too late. When we take him skiing again, I would love to be able to duplicate the time we had at Chateaux DuMont 2704. Thanks again.

First of all, the service from the Summit Cove staff was nothing short of outstanding. The unit itself was very good for what we needed for a party of 8. Very comfortable. A separate bath for each bedroom was just great. Bunk beds served the kids well. Having a washer and dryer turned out to be such a bonus. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The damper in the fireplace could not be closed. So, unless there was a good fire going, cold air would pour down the chimney into the main room. For someone who cooks, the kitchen was good but lacked some important items. The knives were very dull, there were no food leftover storage containers, very limited baking or casserole dishes and no cleaning products except for the dishwasher. We purchased and left some sharp knives, Pyrex dish ware, a knife sharpener and some plastic food storage containers.

We do an annual family ski trip to Keystone and this was one of our favorites. We were there with 3 children and it was great to have such an easy accessible place. Clean with lots of towels which was nice. Hard to keep kitchen and living room area warm (bedrooms were good) but free firewood supplied so it worked out fine. If you have ever stayed in the Chateaux Dumont you may be familiar with the original hot tubs which are terrible but they have replaced this one with a new hot tub.
